About Texas Strings Camp

Texas Strings Camp is a project of The PS Foundation for the Arts, a 501(c)3 organization.

This year in response to COVID-19, Texas Strings Camp is going Virtual!

Three amazing clinicians will be teaching masterclasses to our students on Zoom.

Suzanne LeFevre, will be conducting the Viola masterclass Saturday, June 20 from 10am-12pm on Zoom.  Ms. LeFevre is viola professor at the University of Houston, Moore School of Music, and part of the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra.  Please read her full bio here:
Vadim Gluzman will teach the Violin masterclass Saturday, June 27 from 1pm-3pm on Zoom. Mr. Gluzman is a world-renowned violin soloist who performs regularly with symphonies around the world.  Please read his full bio here:
Blaise Déjardin will teach the Cello masterclass Saturday, July 11 from 1pm-3pm on Zoom.  Mr. Déjardin has been a cellist with the Boston Symphony since 2008, and was appointed principal cellist of the symphony in 2018.  Please read his full bio here:

We will be excited to host our 7th Annual camp – hopefully in person – next year in June 2021, near the beautiful University of Texas at Austin campus.
