About Texas Strings Camp

Texas Strings Camp is a project of The PS Foundation for the Arts, a 501(c)3 organization.

The 6th annual Texas Strings Camp will take place near the campus of The University of Texas at Austin, from June 11 – 21, 2020. We are honored to host faculty with impressive resumes and performance experience. Faculty are affiliated with institutions like The Juilliard School, Boston Symphony, University of Houston, among other esteemed music schools. Students focus on solo and chamber music, chamber orchestra, private lessons, masterclasses and elective courses.

The Young Artist Division, in its 4th year, has been developed for those students from ages 6 and up who are able to adequately play literature at the Suzuki Book 2-4 level and can read music at the book 2 level. The Young Artist Division will take place June 14-21, 2020.

**We are proud to be offering a new division this year! The new division will be for students who are able to adequately play literature at the Suzuki Book 5-7 level and can read music at the book 5 level. The new division will take place June 14-21, 2020.**

We will continue our Rising Stars Division for those students who are performance focused and exceptionally gifted. The dates for this division are June 11 – 21, 2020.
